Settings
Lynx settings are in Stores › Configuration › Lynx. Like other Magento settings, most of them can be set for the whole installation, per website or per store view.
Design
Active Design chooses the design shoppers see. See Designs.
Theme Fallback
Some extensions bring storefront pages that Lynx does not design. Theme Fallback shows those pages with a standard Magento theme instead, while the rest of the store stays on Lynx.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enable Fallback | Turns the feature on. When off, every page uses Lynx. |
| Fallback Theme | The theme used for the listed pages, usually Magento Blank. |
| Fallback Routes | The pages to hand over, one per line. |
Pages are named the way Magento names them internally, such as checkout_index_index. A line ending in * covers every page that starts with it, so paypal_* covers all PayPal pages. If you are not sure of a page's name, ask the developer of the extension that adds it.
By default the list holds checkout with multiple addresses, the shipment tracking popup and the pages of the main payment providers. Theme Fallback itself is off by default, so turn it on if your store uses any of these pages.
Server-side rendering
Settings for rendering pages on the server are in Stores › Configuration › Lynx › SSR. The renderer runs as a Node.js process or as a Cloudflare Worker. See Server-side Rendering for the setup and every setting.
MCP Server
The MCP Server lets AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol connect to your store and work with Lynx, for example to build pages in the editor. Its settings are in Stores › Configuration › Lynx › MCP Server, and connected assistants are managed under Lynx › MCP.
Access follows the admin user who approves the connection: an assistant can only do what that admin user's role allows. Setting up the server is a technical task for your developer.
