Design your store by talking to an AI assistant. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or any other assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to your store, describe the page you have in mind, and the assistant builds it in PageBuilder with Lynx's own components and your design settings.

Build with AI is not available yet. It is planned for an upcoming release of Lynx, and this page describes what it will do.

What you will be able to do ​

  • Build a page from a description. "A home page for an outdoor gear shop: a hero with a call to action, three category tiles, new arrivals and best sellers." The assistant picks the components, fills in the text and arranges the page.
  • Change the pages you already have. Move a section, rewrite a heading, swap a banner, add a product row under the cart, or translate a page's text for another store view.
  • Match your brand. Ask for your brand colors, rounder corners or a larger heading scale, and the assistant adjusts the design settings that every page follows.
  • Use your real catalog. The assistant can look up your categories and products, so links and product rows point to pages that exist in your store.

Everything the assistant builds is made of the same components you use in the editor, so you can open the result in PageBuilder and keep refining it by hand.

How it will work ​

  1. Connect your assistant. Add your store's MCP address to the assistant, then approve the connection in the Magento admin under Lynx › MCP with a short pairing code. Your admin address is never shared with the assistant.
  2. Describe what you want. Talk to the assistant as you would to a designer, in your own words and in any language.
  3. Review before it goes live. The assistant works in a design you choose, so you can check the result in the editor's preview and make the design active only when you are happy with it.

You stay in control ​

  • Only what the admin role allows. The assistant acts on behalf of an admin user and can do only what that user's role permits.
  • The default design stays untouched. It is read-only, so you always have a clean starting point to go back to. See Designs.
  • Disconnect at any time. See which assistants are connected and remove any of them in Lynx › MCP.

Which assistants ​

Any assistant or app that can connect to an MCP server, such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, and code editors with MCP support. Each assistant uses its own AI model and account, so you keep the one you already work with.
