I saved my changes but the store still shows the old page

Lynx clears the affected pages from Magento's cache when you save. If an old page still shows, refresh the cache in System › Cache Management, then reload the page in your browser.

The editor will not let me save

The design you opened is read-only. This is the case for the default design that Lynx installs. Duplicate it in Lynx › Designs and edit the copy. See Designs.

A page from an extension is blank or looks broken

The page probably comes from an extension that Lynx does not design. Add it to Fallback Routes so it shows with a standard Magento theme. See Settings.

Can I try a new look without shoppers seeing it?

Yes. Duplicate the design the store is using, work on the copy and share a preview link with anyone who needs to see it. Switch the store to the copy only when it is ready. See Designs.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Pages, colors, text sizes and layout are all changed in the editor. Developers can go further, for example by adding their own components, but this is never required.

How do I show a different text in another language?

Text settings in the editor have a Translations button. Add a translation for each store view language using its locale code, such as de_DE. See Translations.

How do I change the links in the footer?

The footer is a zone shared by every page. Open any page in the editor, find the Link List blocks in the Footer zone, and edit their links. See Link List.

My payment extension does not show in the checkout

Offline payment methods always show. An online method that needs its own payment form shows once it has a Lynx version. Lynx includes PayPal, Braintree and Stripe. See Payment methods.

The Bestsellers row is empty

Bestsellers come from Magento's Bestsellers report. Refresh it in Reports › Statistics › Refresh Statistics, or make sure Magento's cron is running.

Can I see how a page looks on a phone before publishing?

Yes. Use the Desktop, Tablet and Mobile buttons in the editor's top bar. To check on a real phone, send yourself a shared preview link.
